About the Conference
This event is designed to meet the needs of cancer survivors, their families and caregivers before, during and after diagnosis.
Target Audience:
Cancer survivors, their families and caregivers.
Objectives of Cancer…Living the Journey:
- To provide a forum for survivors and their families to network with other survivors and their families, support agencies and health care experts.
- To provide a fun, supportive event that encourages survivors to celebrate life.
- To provide information about new advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- To provide information about conditions survivors face during treatment and interventions to address those conditions.
- To provide information to assist survivors in improving the quality of life after cancer treatment.
This is the first community-wide cancer conference to be offered in this region. The Cancer Conference Coalition for Cancer...Living the Journey is comprised of:
